Kakslauttanen Log Cabins ( *** Star)
Located in the Saariselka fell area and amidst beautiful scenery, these traditional and rustic cabins provide an ideal location in the vicinity of Urho Kekkonen National Park.
The Kakslauttanen Log Cabins are located 250 kilometres north of Artic circle. The Northern lights are visible from late August to April.
Well located for viewing the Northern lights, Kakslauttanen Log Cabins provide comfortable accommodation with a good rage of on site facilities in one of the area's most beautiful settings. One of the restaurant is made entirely from wooden locks, where guests watch their meals been cooked on the open fireplace.
The hotel has 31- log cabins and an igloo village which includes glass igloos. Each cabin is located with sufficient distance from the others to ensure privacy. Each cabins has a sauna and fireplace with 1 box of logs provided-additional logs payable locally.
