DAY 01: TRIVANDRUM - KOVALAM

On arrival you’ll be greeted by your representative and transferred to your hotelat Kovalam. This is one of the most famous beaches in India fringed by palms and lapped by the crystal waters of the Arabian Sea – a living, breathing paradise come true. Once you’ve checked in simply relax and unwind with a spot of sunbathing, swimming or enjoy an indulgent herbal massages. Bliss!

DAY 02: KOVALAM – ALLEPPEY ~ KUMARAKOM

After breakfast you and your fellow holidaymakers will and drive to Alleppey for a cruise up to Kumarakom. Travelling by houseboat is a Kerala speciality and you won’t be disappointed by the lush scenery that you’ll enjoy along the way or the sumptuous accommodation on board.

DAY 03: KUMARAKOM

After breakfast, we’ll wave goodbye to the houseboat check in at sleepy Kumarakom on the banks of the famous Vembanad Lake. The bird sanctuary here is an ornithologist's paradise – the perfect place to spend a leisurely afternoon.

DAY 04: KUMARAKOM - PERIYAR

Today we’ll drive to Periyar, one of the most famous wildlife sanctuaries in South India. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can view the wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. Later, you can spend the day at leisure - maybe getting to know your fellow travelers a little better.

DAY 05: PERIYAR - COCHIN

This morning, we’ll enjoy a boat ride through the Periyar Lake before driving to Cochin, the most cosmopolitan city of Kerala. The city boasts one of the finest harbours on the Arabian Sea coast, and its multi-cultural heritage is reflected in its stunning buildings.

DAY 06: COCHIN

Enjoy a half day sightseeing the historic treasures of Cochin including its Fort Cochin, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and Dutch Palace. The afternoon will include a visit to the Hill Palace Museum at Thripunithura and in the evening, we’ll get together to watch the spectacular ‘Kathakali dance’ in a local theatre.

DAY 07: COCHIN – KOVALAM

Today we’ll go back to the beach luxury of Kovalam for an overnight stay at the stunning Travanacore Heritage Hotel.

DAY 08: KOVALAM

Sadly, it’s time say good bye to friends who are returning to the UK after the tour. For the rest of the party, there’s a wonderful week of relaxation at Travancore Heritage in store...
